Tom's full name is actually William Thomas Clodfelter, but he always preferred Tom. When he was younger, he signed his work with his initials, WTC.

Obituary

W. Thomas Clodfelter, Rogers, AR, and originally from Atlanta GA, age 70 years passed unexpectedly September 1, 2020. Tom had a zest for life and knowledge that was unparalleled. When he was 17, a casual interest in submarines became an exclusive project: he actually built a submarine (took him 2 years) that went to a depth of 3,000 feet, and actually painted it yellow! He looked after 26 lions in a wild animal park in Georgia, was a pilot, had a degree in architecture from Georgia Tech, became a SWAT Team member, and was the network manager of NASA's JPL Space Flight Operations Facility. Every task he undertook, he undertook to completion. His keen mind was fascinated by any wide variety of topics from Jane Austen to Sci-fi. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Megan of 31 years. They had no children but several cats. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite animal shelter. In keeping with his desires, there will be no services but a private celebration of his remarkable life.

Celebration of Life

The following was recorded on September 4, 2021 at VBT. A special event was secured with the flying club at the little airport he so dearly loved.

Out-of-state friends and family participated through Zoom. This event was a joyous celebration of his remarkable life as well as a celebration of life in general.
